Power Line DSL (PLDSL)

Power Line DSL is a revolutionary delivery method of broadband technology. This techology enables symmetric connectivity speeds unlike the standard ADSL Upstream of 256kb/s.

DMC remain at the forefront of the industry. We have already begun trials and talks with a number of power line infrastructure operators with the aim of being able to provide such a service by Q4 2003.

The era of PLDSL brings massive opportunity to the UK broadband market. As no broadband enabled exchanges or telecommunications are required PLDSL can be delivered to any household that has a connection to and electricity provider compatible with DMC PLDSL.

The first areas to be enabled are those who cannot currently receive standard ADSL broadband services, in many cases these are rural areas of Scotland, Northern England, Wales and Ireland.
